You’ll be picked up at your hotel for an unforgettable Panoramic Sydney half day city sights tour. On the tour you’ll visit the historic Rocks area and hear early convict history, enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, see the shopping heart of the city, QVB, Centrepoint and visit Sydney’s trendy new district Oxford Street. Then travel through elegant Paddington with its terrace houses before arriving at the Pacific Ocean. See the superb coast cliff walk around Tamarama and Bronte. Travel on to famous Bondi Beach. Visit the beachfront promenade, enjoy a coffee or cool drink (at own cost). See bronzed Aussie lifeguards and Sydney’s best panoramic view at Dover Heights. Return to Sydney via Double Bay, Kings Cross and Mrs Macquarie’s Point for a final magical viewpoint over the harbour before returning to the city centre and dropped off to Darling Harbour to connect with your lunch on cruise.
Cruise aboard Sydney’s flagship MV Sydney 2000 to live a fantastic experience. Enjoy stunning harbour views, a comprehensive commentary and a delicious seafood buffet lunch. After the cruise you will be dropped off at the InterContinental Sydney.
Today after breakfast you will be picked up at your hotel for the Blue Mountains tour. The first stop on the tour is at Featherdale Wildlife Park. You can get up close and personal, stroke a koala and hand feed kangaroos, wallabies & emus. Departing from Featherdale, you continue your drive to the Blue Mountains. You will travel through the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls and onto the lookout. With spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and the magnificent waterfall for which it is named, this beautiful lookout is the first stop where you can take a leisurely walk to see the Waterfalls. Continuing on you arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Lunch today is at Hydro Majestic. The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of scenic lookouts. The view from Govett’s Leap is one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Here the magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. The last stop is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where you stop to enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice before travelling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at the InterContinental Sydney.
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Melbourne (not included). Upon arrival into Melbourne, you will be met by your driver guide and taken to your hotel, The Langham Melbourne. There is a lot to love about Melbourne – just ask the locals. After some relaxing in your hotel, you will be met for your Melbourne night tour. Melbourne is breathtaking under lights. Marvel at the heritage buildings throughout the Golden Mile. Be mesmerized by St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens and the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building. For dinner, soak up the atmosphere at one of Melbourne’s hottest dining spots or grab a sidewalk table and enjoy a classic pasta with a hearty local red wine in our vibrant ‘Little Italy’. After dinner take in the grandeur of St Kilda Road and witness Melbourne’s spectacular skyline and stunning panoramic views at Eureka Skydeck 88. You’ll be captivated by the bright city light below, spreading 60km to the horizon from the highest view point in the southern hemisphere.
Today is at leisure to explore Melbourne at your own pace.
You will be picked up at your hotel. First stop is Bass Wines which is a favoured winery on the South Gippsland Wine Trail. You will enjoy a tasting and a cheese platter and soak in the amazing views from this family owned winery. Then you head to Summerland Beach on Phillip Island to get ready for the extraordinary arrival of the little penguins from the beach. You can view this from Penguins Plus Viewing Platform which is located in a high penguin traffic area to provide a closer look of the penguins on parade and a more personalised experience. Rangers are on hand at Penguins Plus to talk about the marvel of world’s smallest penguins and their fascinating lives. Relax as you dine in one of the best restaurants on the Bass Strait with dinner at Watermark Restaurant, Silverwater Resort. This is a 2 course menu to show the beautiful seasonal produce of the area with wine from the regions. Return to The Langham, Melbourne.
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hobart (not included). Upon arrival into Hobart, you will be met by your driver guide and taken to The Henry Jones Art Hotel.
With the River Derwent at its heart and Mount Wellington rising above it, in Hobart the tranquillity of a city from a bygone era coexists with the vibrancy of a pocket-sized modern metropolis. The city’s European beginnings are evident everywhere, from quaint settlers’ cottages to the lofty porches of colonial mansions. Once bustling with whalers and entrepreneurs, 19th-century sandstone warehouses now serve as dockside cafes, artist’s studios and restaurants, where visitors can enjoy excellent cuisine and fine wines. The nearby Port Arthur Historic Site, the rugged island beauty of Bruny Island, and the amazing vistas from the summit of Mount Wellington form some of the city’s key attractions.
